As a leader, you have many resources as your command. But there is only one which you cannot replace. Time. With the right conditions, you can find more money or budget. You can also replace equipment. To a certain degree, you can also replace team members (although I don’t recommend thinking of people as resources).

But time? Time is irreplaceable. Time passes whether you want it to or not. And once time passes, it’s gone. You cannot simply get more time. Therefore time is your most precious resource.
Great leaders aim to have the most impact they can have in the time available. It’s one of the reasons great leaders manage their time carefully, know how to say no, and are clear about what impact they want to have.
We all have a limited amount of time. How will you use yours?
